§ 17-29. Persons prohibited near fires.

  • The officer in command at a fire may prescribe limits in the vicinity of any fire, within which no persons, excepting those who reside therein, firemen and policemen, and those admitted by order of any officer of the fire department shall be permitted to come. Such authority shall extend for thirty-six (36) hours after extinguishment of the fire or until the fire scene is released by the officer in command.
