§ 14-1. Establishment.

(a)

There is created the Aurora Emergency Management Agency (AEMA) to prevent, minimize, repair and alleviate injury or damage resulting from disaster caused by enemy attack, sabotage or other hostile action or from natural or manmade disaster, in accordance with The Illinois Emergency Management Act. (20 ILCS 3305 et seq.)

(b)

This emergency management agency shall consist of the director of community safety, emergency management agency coordinator and such additional members as may be selected by the director of community safety.
